The documented cultures, ethnic groups and kinship-organized peoples of the world, grouped by the Murdock Outline of World Cultures and eHRAF World Cultures regional scheme: African, Middle Eastern and Southwest Asian, South and Central Asian, East and Southeast Asian, European, Oceanian and Australian, North American Indigenous, Latin American and Caribbean Indigenous peoples, plus a non-territorial band for diasporic, religious and modern social formations. This band groups the atlas's social-group entities.
